Animal Ashram founder Leesa Rowland hosted the organization’s Animal Supply Drive & Fundraiser at Flirt Beauty Boutique, with proceeds benefiting New York City’s animal shelters. Guests were encouraged to bring gently used or new blankets, towels and pet toys for donation, and a percentage of sales of all beauty treatments sampled at the event were donated to Animal Ashram.
The festive affair was catered by Cornelia Guest Catering and featured tasty vegan hors d’oeuvres including chili bites, beet hummus on flatbread and eggplant caponata. Vegan-friendly prizes were raffled off, including a cruelty-free clutch by Cornelia Guest, vegan shoes by Arden Wohl X Cri De Coeur, a necklace by Mina D Jewelry and a three-month pass to Equinox Fitness.
Those in attendance included: Robin Cofer, Wendy Diamond, Grace Forster, Linda Obuchoska, Barbara Regna, Joey Reynolds, Anna Rhodes, Ramona Singer, Dara Sowell, Steven Victor, Arden Wohl and Larry Wohl.
